All right I am 17 and I have just been caught by my employer for stealing money over the past 4 months. Now I have probably only stolen about $200-250 dollars and I am just wondering what type of punishment I am probably bound to receive.

First it is likely they will claim you stole a lot more, So I would not be so easy going about it as you appear to sound.

But if this is your first time, most likely a large fine, pay back all the money they claim you took, and you will get a year or two probation.

And of course now you have a criminal record for the rest of your life.

If you are, then your record will be destroyed once you turn 18, since you will charged under the Young Offenders Act.
