    Searching for Jackie Shroff movie
    I am looking for a jackie Shroff movie that was on Channel 4 in the early 90's. He played a cop, his father was also a cop, but who was a lower rank.
    The film starts with a young boy(Shroff) and girl walking down some steps in a flashback scene. Jackie's dad is killed by the local villians and I think his childhood girlfriend is connected to the villians in some way. He goes out for revenge, along the way his black labrador named master, is injured by the gang. He is reunited with his childhood girlfriend and eventually gets revenge. Early in the film he teams up with a friendly crook - amitabh buchcan? who is also killed by the gang along the way.

    I'm not sure of the movie you are looking for, but here is his imdb page, with all the movies he's been in listed with the year and character name. There are a few from the 1990's with police-sounding roles. Hopefully you will recognize the name and find the film you are looking for!
