Calicum. When is too much and dangerous.
Okay reactly I been having weirde problems peein like I can go it doesn't hurt or anything but I always will have the feeling like I have to go to the bathroom.. I try to go sometimes and its just a little bit.. than ill go for a good one and its almost like its cut short.. I've been eating very healthy go to the gym maybe 6 5 times a week work out an hour on weights and than 20 -30 minutes running I have been taking vitamin pills that have 150 calicum followed by all kinds of vitamins in it.. and I take to a day.. I have protein and make it with a milk and make a shake.. well my question is how much can your body have of calcium before it is dangerous. My mom has been saying to me I'm showing symtems of kidney stones I had when I was younger at the age of 18 but to be honest I don't think I did have it because I went to hospital and first I went they wrong then secound time I went they said I had kidney stones and its going to hurt when I pass it and I never felt a thing.. my mother is saying I'm taking in too much calcium from all the milk I'm drinking with my protein.. I love milk I thought milk is really good for you and I'm maybe having one or 2 big glasses a day.. buy 3 percent milk I think it is and has 30 percent calcium I think. I don't think that is harmful like I'm not going to stick to my mothers weride and get mad if she's wrong haha but can someone help me out here thanks a lot.

    This page explains about calcium
You have to take magnesium and vitamin D3 with calcium so that it absorbs properly.
At the very most you should take no more than 1,000 mg
For every 100 mg of calcium you need 50mg magnesium. So 500 mg calcium would be 250 mg magnesium.
You have to remember you get calcium and magnesium in food too. If you have been taking too much calcium you maybe should just stop taking the calcium and just take the magnesium.
Also you need to make sure that any supplements you take are okay with any medications you take.

Calcium & Magnesium: DRI/RDA, overdose, negative side effects & toxicity

Some people do a flush with lemon juice, olive oil & (I forget the third ingredient)

Too much calcium does not only affect your kidneys, but your heart as well. Too much protein can affect your kidneys as well as other organ systems in your body as well.

Most of what our bodies need we get from our daily nutritional intake and supplements are not always necessary.

Look at all of your vitamin bottles and add up the percentages of calcium, magnesium, sodium, protein, sodium.

All of these can cause heart failure, not to mention nephrotic syndrome if taken in too high of a dose.

I think you maybe should go to the doctor and have a test to see if and what vitamins may be too elevated in your system. I think you need to get away from as much calcium as you possibly can, at least until you get your kidney stone problem cleared up. Cut out the milk and see if you can get a supplement without calcium
