My five year old cat is meowing and spraying non stop what do I do?
My cat goes from spraying over my bedroom and loudly crying everywhere she goes. She does this for about four days or more then stops for a few days and does it again, what's wrong with her? She seems to be in heat but she seems to be in it longer than the last and soon after the last. She's not an outside cat just inside, but there are cats outside she sees though. My cat doesn't like people to touch her much, she gets angry easily, like she doesn't calm down, is that just her personality or does she feel uncomfortable?

Cats are seasonal breeders--once the days start to lengthen in the spring they start to cycle. Unlike dogs, cats will go in and out of heat until (1) the days shorten in the fall, (2)she is bred, or (3) she is spayed. Option number three is definitely the best! The cats outside, where hormones are running rampant, are probably getting her riled up as well, causing her to mark her territory by spraying. After being spayed, she may or may not be upset by them.

FBE, I told you first what was wrong with Shelby, and she was fine until the tainted cat food that killed thousands of pets. Which you purchased from walmart.

MOwerman2468- I know , but the vet agreed, the vet also said that the tainted cat food I got from Walmart was what killed her. It was some of the bad food that the cat and dog feed co's. Put out , and the bad part is they knew it was bad, it even killed some of their dogs and cats that they use for test animals for there foods they make.I still have the news paper where they admitted it. There was some one that just won a big law suit from them over this, HIP HIP HARAY F.B.E. HAY YOUALS GOTS ANY THAT YANKEY FROZEN STUF CALLED " ICE " AND IT GOT OUT OF YANKEY LAND WITHOUT A PASSPORT , I guess " BUSH " HELPED THEM!! :::

My kitty was 4 when I finally got her fixed. She was doing the same thing. At the place we were living at the time, there was a lot of stray cats she could see out the window, so I felt like I was torturing her. I took her to SPCA and they actually fixed her at no cost. Since she's been fixed, I have noticed she's become more friendly. I also don't have to worry about cat odor in my house anymore!
