    Taxes applicable to J1 holders
    What kind of taxes for applicable for j1 visa holders? What is FICA taxes? Wheather it is applicable to J1 holders? What are the tax exemptions j1 holders?

    Are you a student, trainee, resident, professor..
    Your country of citizenship?

    Everyone on J1 is exempt from FICA taxes for two years. Students for 5 years...
