    Filing tax return
I am married to a US citizen last March 30, 2007 but until this date I do not have my permanent resident card which I applied for last July 2007. I am not employed since I am considered a non-resident alien so I do not have income. What would be my husband's filing status? Can we file jointly or should my husband just file separately and or will he be considered head of household? Problem is, we do not have qualifying dependent. Will I be considered dependent and can I also be an exemption? Thanks.

File jointly with your spouse and you choose to be treated as a resident alien for all of 2007.
