Suspect grandma was murdered
After my grandma died of an ulcer, due to excessive bleeding, an autopsy reveled that she can head fresh small skull fractures. Her money (5,000 cash) was stolen not long before he died. My cousin told me she use to get beaten up by my uncle (her son), which she adored. Before she died she told my mom that she wanted to stay with her. My family couldn't oppose of her desire to live there with my uncle and a couple of cousins who use drugs. We never though she was in danger. My father does not believe his brother beat her and thinks my cousin is lying. My dad helps his brother by allowing him to live in his house in mexico. It's been about 3 years since her death and I wonder if I can do something. I don't want to accept this injustice, just because they live in mexico. Any advice as to what I can do legally? My uncle use to play with us innapropiately when we were children. I wish I had the guts to tell my dad, or would it serve no purpose. I don't want to ruin their relationship. But, I always wonder if he pushed her and then she fainted and he stole the key she use to carry inside her clothing at all times; the key to her safe box.

I can't understand why they did an autopsy. She died of natural causes apparently, as you say. Funeral parlours don't do autopsies. Did they suspect it had been something else as a blow to the head ? You can alert the police in Mexico that you suspect something and let them do as they wish, which I think will be not very much of anything.
As for the sexual abuse by your uncle is important and I would at least tell your dad.

Little confused - as someone else said - about why an extensive autopsy was performed when she died of a excessive bleeding from a (presumably) stomach ulcer - highly unusual unless there is some suspicion. Also don't understand why, if there were skull fractures, no one looked into that - unless there was an investigation and it situation was explained.
As far as your uncle and his "inappropriate" play when you were a child, you have a duty to protect other children by reporting it. I would be less worried about the relationship between your father and his brother and more worried about what other kids may be going through.
Sounds like a Police matter if you can back up your suspicions - Mexico or not.

First where was the murder and who did the extensive autopsy. While mistakes happen, normally a autopsy would tell you what really caused the death. If the crime happened in the US, pressure on the Attorney General of that state to reopen the investigation or hire your own investigator.
If it happened in Mexico, I mean no disrespect but their legal and police departments are filled with corruption,

When was the autopsy. Did they do one. How long has she been gone. You can request the body be exumed. You have to get in touch with a funeral home if you want to have them investagate the body. Plus the permition from the next of kin. The police will order it if you have any evidence.
I did a exumed body one year ago and the man had been deceased for 10 years. There was a lot that was explained the pathologist was brilliant. That was at the request of the family.
Sounds extreme I no but,,

I read this as the autopsy showing the cause of death to be excessive bleeding from an ulcer and also uncovering several small skull fractures - not the cause of death. The Police were NOT called in at that time.
Her father (next of kin) doesn't want to be involved -
Again, I'd be more concerned about the touch-feely Uncle and less concerned about where Gramma's five thousand dollars went.

Loved ones who are left to grieve in such situations not only have the loss to contend with, but also the feelings of guilt. I needed emotional understanding and advice. Thank you all for your generous advice. It was not my intention to cause confusion. It's hard to explain a situation in a few words. Simply writing it gave me an opportunity to contemplate my thoughts and feelings. Communication has to be precise, when a misunderstood word may create disaster and confusion among readers. My narrative had to be more formal. It is too late now to re-write, since I have taken the advice and appreciate it. That is why I like this site so much, we give and take.

Yes, I lived in Mexico for a while, basically I doubt at this point and time you can do anything there, If you have the money, you may look into a private medical review of the body ( if you can get the next of kin permission) and the such. But we always had a saying there, the police was the best money could buy. The local police official came by on a regular basis for a donation to his favorite charity ( so to speak) as did several city officials. We normally helped donate to the border patrol to allow our trucks to drive to the front of the line and so on. Just the way they do business ( or at least did many years ago)
