    It is the exercise you do to strengthen the muscles in your vaginal area. To get an idea of just how to do this exercise pretend that you are peeing and that you have to stop the stream. The muscles you are using to stop the stream are the muscles you will be strengthening doing the keigel exercise.

    The best way to learn to do this is to stop and start the flow of urine while urinating. Once you can do that, you can exercise these muscles anywhere at any time.

    This exercise strengthens the pelvic floor.
