    Ceiling fan problems
    Why do the lights work and my ceiling fan not turn? I did have some electrical work done recently.

    Was any work done in the fan box or the switches? How about a brief description of work done. Could fan be turned off by the pull chain?

    Make sure the forward/reverse switch is firmly in the up or down position. Your fan will not

    Operate if the switch is in the middle. Try pull cord switch on the fan

    Then, try checking the main and branch circuit fuses or circuit breakers. Check the wire

    Connections in the ceiling outlet box. At the top of the fan the white wire should tie to

    White wire on fan -- the black wire should tie to a black wire and a blue wire on the fan
