I have trust issues due to my parents getting divorced when I was in the 8th grade the way I was bought through it only made it worse. I really want to be loved by the opposite sex and I'm tired of pushing them out of my life. I'm only 18 and I do want to get to the place where I'm loved and adored I want to have kids but it's hard because of the way my father left I was closest to him but now he doesn't even give me anything. How do I get past this, I'm tired of silently crying please help me I want to be loved:confused:

I would start with counseling... Make sure you don't rush into something because you are so desperate to be loved! You are SO young, so take your time and fall in love with the right person. If you remember where you came from, when you find that special someone and start a family, it will be even more special.

I think the previous post is GREAT advice! Counselling can help you work through the pain caused by your parents' divorce. You are young and have lots of time, so please don't worry. Know that just because your dad did the wrong thing, not every guy will. I know it can be hard to get close to people once someone has hurt you, and that is why I think that counseling might really help. And if you ever need to talk about how you feel, I'll be here! :)
