Well first off, the sperm can live for up to 5 days in the woman's body, so that helps with the timing of things. Secondly, you can make you a chart for recording your body temperature each morning before you get out of bed and chart the temperatures. Then when you see that the temperature has a slight elevation, around the 10th to 15th day of your cycle, that is usually a good indication of ovulation. Thirdly, you could start the 2nd day after your period ends and have intercourse every other day, and also on the day your temperature show the elevation whether that is a "scheduled" day or not. This is what we went through along with fertility medication for my wife and it still didn't work until about 16 yrs later and the adoption of 2 children. So, I feel God wanted us to adopt, get those children nearly raised, then have a child on our own. My oldest boy is 14 years older than the youngest son, and my daughter is 11 years older than my youngest son. Wow, what an age gap huh? And do not, I repeat, DO NOT GIVE UP! The doctors told us my wife would never be able to bear a child, but they were wrong.
