    Continuation on L1 taxes
    No,I am paid by the Indian compnay in Dollars... DO I still have the 183 days tax exempt applicable..

    Is the Indian company sending payment from India? If yes, you don't pay taxes in the U.S.

    If you are paid by your Indian companies branch or office situated in the U.S. then your income is taxable.

    To be exempt, both must be true:
    • The income is paid by, or on behalf of, an employer who is not a resident of the United States.
    • The income is not borne by a permanent establishment, fixed base, or trade or business the employer has in the United States.
