    Continuation without a finding
    I have a continuation without afinding from the court it has been a year sins my charg I want to know if the charges will not affect my application for a job:confused:

    As of right now, you evidently haven't been convicted of anything, so nothing should affect you as far as job eligibility, etc. After the trial, if you are found guilty, that could be a different story. Are you represented by an attorney? The constitution does guarantee you the right to a "fast and speedy trial" and, since it's been a year since you've been charged and the court keeps issuing continuances, I would think that a savvy attorney could get the charges dropped on those grounds.
