Wireless Router getting disconnect very often !
I have a wireless Netgear DG834G Router which keeps getting disconnect from the internet very often. Could that problem be with the ISP or is it the configuration of the router which needs some tweaks? The router has firewall enabled as well as I have BitDefender firewall running on my PC for maximum security, could that be causing any problem ?

    Thanks.

Use netstumbler to look at signal strength, s/n ratio by location. Select a clear channel and use a range extender to fill in bad spots. The wireless router should be in the center of the house or the intended scope.

Your system should have ONE firewall -- may be why you are having problems

I would suggest you disable one of your firewalls at a time -- see if this helps
