My dog andy has been hit by a car he is a 80 lb lab mix .he is 6 years old and also has a sister her name is abby the two of them are inseparable.the accident just happened 1-24-06,he is at the vet now.his front half of his body is OK down to his hips,but he feels no pain sensation on his hine legs and tail.he does have nerve response though.are worries are if he will be able to urineate and have bowl movements.his only real damage seems to be his lower back pelvis area broken.we saw him urinate a little the next morning after the accident,but he hasn't since.Im 1600 into it and my next option is to take him to a surgeon in gainsville fla,costing about 3000 to 5000.we can't afford to do this,but we love our andy.Does anyone know what the chances of him regaining feeling or bladder functions.thank you for your input and support. I have already looked into k-9 carts

I am very sorry to hear that. Each case is different. I will not try to guess how he may do. I am glad you are looking into carts. I have seen several positive reports on them. Don't know if you need them, but here are a couple of links others have said they used, http://WWW.K9carts.com and

Do a search here and you may even find who originally posted them and share experience. It may have been over 6 months ago.

I had something go terrible wrong with one of our cat, what was a simple abscess in her ear, turned into major surgery. The cost was $3,500. Loving my cat as much as I love the air I breathe, I almost died right there. I drive a bus for a living and we all know what that pays, I spoke with the office and they agreed to let me make monthly installment, it took a while but I did pay off the bill. Along with K-9 Carts there is also Eddie’s wheels for pets if in the event you need more wheel chair sites.
