Marrying a married man !
My fiancé and I have been together for many years and have planned to get married... The only thing holding us back of course is the fact that he is still legally married to his wife. They got married and were only together for 6 months before she left him for a "lifestyle" change, she is now gay... My finance and her have been separated for 14 years. No divorce action has been taken prior to wanting to do so now, but in the last 14 years we have no clue to where she is... Being they have lived separate lives for 14 years, have nothing together (property... ect.) what do we do about getting married. I don't want to break any laws (bigamy)... But we feel like we are trap, being we don't know where she is... Can someone give me some answers??

Hello T:
You don't need to know where she is in order to get a divorce. See a lawyer.

Actually we answered this in their last 5 posts.
You are not going to get anything but the real answer, I know you want to hear someone say, it is OK, get married, they have a common law divorce, but that is just not the case, he needs to hire an attorney and file for divorce, don't matter if he does not know where she is, there still has to be a divorce,
Please there is no need to keep asking the same question over and over, the answer is clear

Same answer as the last time around - none of the "gay lifestyle" stuff matters. Hire an Attorney; she can be served by publication.
In the meantime in case something happens to your fiancé, SHE will inherit as his wife. Protect yourself.
