    No Hot Water in Showers
Our home has plenty of pressure and hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks (so hot the water is scalding, and the pressure is so high it splashes when it hits the sink)... the problem is both showers just have a drizzle of warm water. The cold water works fine.

We had no hot water in the showers when we moved in. We replaced the hot water heater. I turned up the heat so that we can bathe in lukewarm water. It seems such a waste to have the hot water heater up so hot the water in the kitchen is scalding, but if we turn it down, we have only cold water in the showers.

There are days that the water in the bathtub is only cold, and I have to haul hot water from the sink to the tub. Also, it seems that if we are running laundry or the dishwasher, the water is actually warmer in the tubs, but its never hot, and there is no pressure. It takes about 1/2 hour to run a half a bath. The shower is like a small drizzle or lukewarm (if your lucky) water.

HELP! There are eight of us in the home (six kids).

I hope there is a way to fix this.

What kind of tub or shower faucet? Brand? How many handles? How old?
