I think if you love him than you must risk getting hurt. Even if he does not care for you as much as you do him... in the end if you can look at your relationship and say that you have given all the love and all of you than you have done your part... the rest is on him. They say you come across two great loves, whether this is true or not don't you want to remember your love being at its best and not scared. Let go and enjoy it... even if you do get hurt at the end.. woman are strong we always get right back on our feet and keep going. Love that's all you can give...

Well, if you ever want to experience love to its fullest you've got to be willing to be vulnerable and you've got to be willing to open up and let someone in. Although doing these things will not guarantee that the relationship will work out, I can assure you that not doing these things will guarantee that the relationship will not work out. It's not unlike gambling on a business investment ; you've got to be willing to spend money to make money.
