    Irregular Period
I haven't had my period for a little over 2 months now, Ive taken 2 pregnancy tests and they were both negative. Im not really showing any signs on pregnancy. I have gas occasionally and minor back pain sometimes. I don't have the money or insurance to go see a doctor. So Im trying to see if Planned Parenthood does visits for free if you are unemployed. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have had that problem for the last five years. While I've never seen a doctor specifically about it, I've never been told something was wrong with me when I went for any kind of tests. Some people just have irregular periods. I've gone up to six months without. If this is a normal thing for you, don't worry about it. If not, go to the clinic.

Actually yes, I heard that wasn't good if you're irregular that much after having your period for about 5 years. I was thinking of getting on the pill and see if that helps. Thanks for answering that helps me out so much. I was getting really worried for awhile.

No no no, I think I may have said it wrong. There was nothing wrong with the way mine were. They just never fell on the same day and I'd usually have them every other month. While I did have a six month period without them, it was during a high exercise period. Military training. Athletics can stifle your periods in some cases.

I don't know about where you live, but where I live there are free clinics for women where you can go see a doctor, get tested for pregnancy, std's, have a female exam, and many other things (no abortion). This isn't a "planned parenthood" clinic though, it's just a free clinic (I guess since I live in low income depressed WV, lol). At this clinic you can also be put on the pill. I suggest you find a place like this to go to. If you are a teenager, go to the school nurse. No one at your school will find out and maybe you can talk to her about what you can do to get on the pill for free.
I used to have irregular periods all the time, but since I got on the pill, they come the same time every month which is really convenient.
    Hope you can find something!

I can probably find one I know planned parenthood helps with all that too, I just don't know if they do it for free or not. My mom suggested I go there and go on the pill because it will help. I just got to see if they do it for free or not. I think since I'm not on the pill that might be the problem.

Just give them a call if you don't want to go all the way down there.. I'm sure they'll tell you.
