Well, these are a little irregular, but not extremely so. Have you tried the ovulation kits? If not, I would suggest you do.

Also were you on any form of birth control prior to "trying?"

Understand that it takes many women at least a year of trying before she actually conceives.

I wasn't taking any pills. We were using condoms.I haven't got my periods yet.I will try using any ovulation kit if I'm not pregnant this month. My BBT remained high for 2 weeks and dropped today. Was little upset.
    Thanks for your response.

I went for a general check up and the doctor did a PAP smear test.It was not painful. Is it possible that my periods is delayed this month because of that?

It is doubtful that is why your period is delayed. Your BBT was high most likely because you were ovulating. Once ovulation is complete the BBT will drop.

Now, whether you were on the pill or not, and you weren't, it can still take up to a year or more of "trying" before a woman gets pregnant. It is possible that your period is delayed because of the stress of trying. Stress does terrible things to our bodies.

It is also important to know when to have sex. Every night will tend to lower the sperm count in men, every other night is better.
