How long have you two been together?

I do want to wait that's what I've been doing the past 7 days... and I do want to be with him... I want another chance we've been together for a year and 2 months... I just want him back more than anything...

Then give him space and wait. You can't make some one want you if they don't. If he is unsure, you can't change his mind. This is something he has to work through.
But if you two have been together for a years and all of a sudden he is unsure if he wants to be with you, I'd get a clue.

Iknow that's why I'm giving him space now... we talked recently and he said that there's a chance he might come back just give him time and I will if time is what he needs then I'll give it to him... since he told me he might come back then I have all hope that he will

Then live your life while you're waiting. That is probably what he's doing while he is figuring things out.
Personally I think it is very selfish to tell someone "stay put while I figure out if I want you or not" But that is a decision you have to make.

Then kick off the playing hard to get game send him a text or e-mail saying that you know its over and tell him that you love him but because you wan him to be happy you will leave him alon and not contact him anymore tell him that you wish him that best and hope he finds happyness make sure to sound very sincere and nice not even the shred of attitude and hit send he will e the message and I would guess that he will be contacting you not to long after that but when he does don answer or if he cals and you do answer tell him you need to call him back and then forget to he will panic and its all about gaining control back and having going after you once he has expressed how he feels he's yours. You could even kick it off by sending anything back that you might have of his with a note enclosed saying the same things
