Trouble Double Time
Hey you.ole smoke here, I got a 2 pt ? For you, well for starters my damn systemrestore wonmt work at all, and when I try to reformat I get as far as them asking me what I want to do in those 3 things, so I say start refromatting xp and it say to cick enter and I and it won't get pasted that screen, can some one please help the Mississippi, I would most be gratefull if some had a workable idea, thxs you,, ROD!! 11:D

Hi ol smoke!
1. Have you already tried more than one date to restore to? It's not uncommon for some of them to just not work. Be sure to try 2-3 of them.
2. Inspect your Windows disk: Is it clean and without scratches or dents?
3. Have you run Virus and Spyware scan recently?
If yes to 1,2,3 - what Windows version are you using?

, thxs for the reply, but yes I have done several resore points,and have done the disk andi have runn both zone alarm and adaware and spy bot, its all cleaned accoeding to those units, I just simply can't do a restore, I know how to reformat, just can't it to go by the start page, any further help sure would be gratelyfully appreciated, thxs,, OLE SMOKE

OK a couple of points here.
1/ The use of correct english will enable us to resolve your question properly
2/ what are you attempting to do, as you have mentioned both system restore and format, two completely different systems.
One returns your system to a different date and the other completely wipes your hard drive.
