Question:

Any one have experience with using FIR floor heating system versus other floor heating systems.



Installation (is it easy to install)
Controller (temperature controller) and power supply
Operating costs (does anyone have actual electrical cost data)
Long term - is there any notice degradation (decrease in output? )

Any recommended named "Manufacturer"

There are two main ways for floor heating. One is water the other is electric resistance wire.
They both work well.
Follow the instructions when installing.
Do a room size dimension and use a calculated cost sheet to figure your utility usage.
Electric style heat can go bad overtime.
Hot water can go bad overtime and leak.
Controls and power supplies are available from the company that makes the product or you can pick your own.
Do a Google search for manufactures and then Google the manufactures name to se if others have had problems with there product.

With the proper research on your part you should do OK. It is a very warm type of heat that you do not run at a high temperature.

Hvac - this system is FIR - not electrical wire resistance (pryrotechnics). It works on the principle of far infrared (wavelength).

Well I hope you do not intend to use true infrared heating in you home.
