I'm looking for the title to a movie that had a young man who restored cars/changed the numbers on imposter cars to be auctioned off as the real thing? There was also an odd demonic mongoloid in a cage involved in the script. My friend says Im crazy and I was dreaming? 2000-2004?

I don't know which one that is cause I never had the privilege to watch any of his movies... (too young to remember them back in the sixties)

I don't know the name of that recent movie, but it was James (not Jimmy) Dean--Jimmy Dean is a country singer and also a brand name--and the car he was killed in was a Porsche 550 Spyder.

Wondergirl is right. Jimmy Dean is the singer. Maybe you saw his commercials that he ran for years for Jimmy Dean sausage? That is the singer. James Dean was the young actor who died while driving his Porsche Spider.

I am sorry I don't know the name of the movie goldmaker but it is making me curious to try and find. I wouldn't mind watching it. Sounds interesting. Demonic mongoloid in a cage? The only character I remember that from is in Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome. But the plot isn't about a guy who restores cars.
