Scott makes a good point. My cable company, that is my ISP, pushed me into RoadRunner, but I could have had Earthlink or AOL for the same price. Had I known then what I know now, I think I would have taken Earthlink. My son has had it elsewhere and liked it. RoadRunner is hostile to any OS other than windows, and their website is vastly over done and terribly slow. Tech service is poor. I don't any of their services because they are too much hassle. They do have an excellent spam and virus filter. Most of what gets through is their own crap. Others might not find RR the pain I do.
Still I have a great, fast connection, AMHD pages load in seconds. Best of all, I was able to tell my old phone company where they could put their telephone poles and go VOIP. I only pay about $10 a month more now for phone and internet as I did with a very poor example of dial up for great service. See
