Since this was prevously in arts and crafts, perhaps you can make a skirt poofy like that...

Go look at patterns at your local Joanne's store or craft store... they will tell you sort of material and how much...

It's a great way to get a one of a kind of dress...

Depends on how creative you are and how close to that pink dress you want. There are a few things you can do (but they really depend on your sewing skills, and/or if you can find a pattern):

    1. You can cut the dress on the side so it kind of flows over and put the big puffy netting underneath so it acts as a partial cover to the netting and flows over it, exposing a lot of the netting

    OR

    2. You can cut the dress, only use the top and create a skirt from a pattern from the netting and all that and sew the two together, creating a completely different dress. Mind you, netting is kind of hard to deal with in sewing, but I'm sure you can do it.

    Hope this helps!

Sure but you are going to need more material! The basics are there.

Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon in January? [ 0 Answers ]

I'll be in Sedona for a week in January with teens and husband. What's closed and what's open within a day's drive in Arizona at that time of year? For example, can we drive to the Grand Canyon and back in one day? Is the Jerome ghost town open during winter?
