Should I send my ex flowers who is getting married in two weeks
I casually dated this girl over a year ago who was really, really, really into church. Then I moved away. She said over and over and over and over and over again she wanted to keep in touch and be there for me. When I said that doesn't happen, she argued with me, and insisted she would. Then a little more than a year ago, she stopped replying to E-mails as often. A year ago, the last E-mail I got from her was that we'll definitely keep in touch.

She did not reply to calls or E-mails after that. I left her a plea in Dec 2006. I sent her a graduation gift in May 2007 with a letter about how disappointed I was. Never heard from her.

I learned she is getting married in two weeks to a pastor.

OK, so I'm sort of vindictive. Should I send her some really nice flowers and say, "I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. I don't know where you are or what you are doing, but you said you wanted to keep in touch with me."

I wish I had sent a ton of red roses for Valentine's Day. That would have really forced something.

    I'm terrible.

Wasting your time and money buddy. I've sent flowers myself and I'm sure many others here have as well. For many and different situations. You won't get any response. I wouldn't bother wasting your money on her. Won't change a thing.

I imagine you want to ruin or spoil her day - sending flowers would do that. How grown up is that? Just let it go. Then find some other worthwhile activities to fulfill your life.

Yea, I don't know what I was dreaming about last night that cause me to post this morning.

I am actually engaged. I told my fiancé and she started laughing.

She reminded me of this past Valentine's Day when this guy she had dated for a month, 7 months before, showed up on her doorstep with a big thing of flowers. He told her she was the only one he ever loved. She called me and we started laughing a lot.

Everyone who has heard me talk about the ex said they think I dodged a bullet. Everyone seems to like the one I'm with.

    Thanks for reading.
