    Baffling Phone Situation
My mother and I both have Time Warner Digital Phone Service, a few weeks ago this problem started. When she calls our home we can hear her but she can not hear us. Time Warner says there is no problem on their end - we were on the phone for 45 minutes. We can talk with her from our cell phones and she can call anyone and talk with them except for our home phone. We switched out the phones and still the problem continues. When the phone is picked up in our home, here line sounds completed dead. Can someone please help. The only thing that we can figure out is to go back to AT&T. Thanks so much.

Back when I had analog phone service I remember a problem like that, and I think it was at the phone office.

If you have high speed internet, there is always Vonage - VoIP Internet Phone Service for Home, Business and International Calling: Vonage – A Better Way to Phone for Less SM $31/ month including all taxes gets me local service plus unlimited calls to the USA, Canada, and much of western Europe.

My cell phone was stolen recently and the guy who stole it called all over the place, adding about $175 in phone charges to our phone bill. I reported it stolen to Qwest, but they say the charges are still my responsibility. I am planning to refute the bill, but I don't know the correct...
