    B&S Flywheel , which ones fit
    Hi, I have a Briggs & Stratton 18 HP Horizontally Opposed Twin Motor...

    I need a flywheel for it... What all models (HP) will work on it.?

    The motor is Model: 422707
    Type 1501 01
    Ckode: 89032312

    Any help will be greatly appreciated...

    P.S. will the aluminum flywheels work. Mine was currently cast iron

    You need to only go with the original flywheel designed and specified for your engine. Even if an aluminum one fit, I would think that the difference in weight of each flywheel could cause problems, maybe not, but possible. I would only go with the original. And it is not often that a flywheel needs replaced, why is the reason that you are replacing yours?

    Hey, thanks for the reply... Mine was damaged during removal... Was frozen and could not be removed easily...
