Hottub electric quote is it rediculious?
I bought a hottub that requires 240 volts 50 amps and I would need the wiring from the main breaker box, an outside box and 50 feet of wiring; Yes the house would need to have a hole to have pvc or something going through for the wires but I got an estimate of 1,025 is that high? It seems high to me! If you can help it would be great I'm having another electricion look at it within the week also. Thanks

Depends on the market your located in, but seems OK, what with the cost of copper nowadays.

I did one in Northern New England for $750.00 several years ago, and a much shorter run, so seems OK to me.

Sure seems reasonable to me. Especially if they have to bury a cable/conduit 18" deep for 50 feet.
