    Solve for z 3x(y+1)=9+z where y=4, x=2

    substitute y=4 and x=2, simplify and solve. Why don't you show us your work and let us know where you're having problems.

    3x(y+1)=9+z
    3(2)(4+1)=9+z
    6(4+1)=9+z
    6(5)=9+z
    30=9+z
    30-9=9+z-9
    21=z
