So I found out my boyfriend hasn't really been cheating on me but he's been telling this girl that she's beautiful and this and that. When I confronted him about it he confessed he does have feelings for her but they just "feelings" and he really loves me and wants to be with me. We haven't been spending much time together lately because of my job, and he's in a band with this girl so they do spend time together and he says the only reason he got these feelings in the first place was because we don't spend enough time together and since they are almost always together it just happened but he doesn't want to be with her.
I don't understand, we have been going out for 2 years and I'm not sure if its really possible to have feelings for someone but not want to be with them? Is he with me only because we have been going out for so long and he feels "confortable" with me, does he really love me? Is his defense even true? Or does he really even have feelings for this other girl or maybe he just thinks he does because they have been spending so much time together?

I'm sorry for wats been going on with you an your boy, iv'e been with my boy for 2 years as well, well maybe you should say to your boyfriend if he really loves you he will completely stop talking to this girl and have more feelings for you an not this chick.If he's your boyfriend he shouldn't even be getting close to another person or even worse having feelings for them. If I were u... I would have bashed her by now lol
