    Afci or gfci for dishwasher connection?
    Should I use a afci or a gfci circuit breaker to directly connect a dishwasher to the circuit breaker box?

    A GFI is not required, nor is an AFCI. You may, for extra protection give it GFI protection, just be aware that this may result in nuisance tripping.
