    Renter in jail
I have a year long rental lease that was signed with a couple less than a month ago. Last week, the husband called stating his wife left & he wanted her name off the lease. I told him to consult with her & provide me with written or visual proof that she is no longer vacating the premises & we would discuss altering the lease. Since this time, he has been arrested. Does his arrest affect any type of eviction process? I do not know how long he will be detained. The wife is not returning phone calls now.

No, you have a agreement in writing between the women and her husband, so unless there was something illegal going on , in the home, drug sells, or something, no this is not automatically break most leases.
