    Striking out!
Ok I have been single now for 5 months and I really don't want to be anymore. I'm always out and about meeting new people and having a good time. It seems like every time I meet a girl I like and she seems to be interested in me, it turns out the opposite. I ask her out to either the movies or too coffee or something very casual. I usually get ignored, they make of excuses, or they lie and say they have a boyfriend. Am I doing something wrong here, am I trying to hard?

Just keep trying. You're on the right track with meeting new people and going out. Can you ask a friend to set you up with someone? Try going to a new place or getting involved in a new activity. Take a cooking class, sign up for karate lessons, join a gym, join a club, volunteer with a local organization. Look in new places. Ultimately, just keep doing what you're doing; I'm sure someone will come along soon! How would you feel about a dating service? If you are a member of a religious organization, try getting involved in some stuff there. In my experience, someone seems to come along when I least expected it! Just hang in there and keep going out. Good luck! :)

You know life is funny like that, you never find what you are looking for, it always come too you. I have been doing a dating service and so far nothing. I guess I am trying to hard and Im still trying to get over my ex, we dated for almost 3 years. Sometimes I just get real lonely and I hate it.
