Basically a server is a large computer that is always on and holds a lot of information that it then serves to various requests.
Now alot of Yahoo's, AOL's and Google's funding comes directly from advertising.
They are all based on their own VAST server farms.

Is Yahoo A server,separate from AOL,etc..
Is My Blue Tooth satellite a server, or a search engine?
Is Google either one or the other, or both?
Are they all search engines and servers alike,just terminology calling something the same thing?
