    Am I pregnant?
    How far along do I have to be in order for a pregnancy to show up on a pregnancy test? Because me and my husband are trying to have a baby

    You can take a pregnancy test the first day your period is late.

    It is different for every woman... the rule of thumb is to take a pregnancy test when you are first late on your period. But it all depends on how your levels of HCG rise... it takes some women longer to register on a HPT. So keep in mind, if you get a negative test and still think you could be pregnant... back it up with a blood test from your doctors.

    Disagrees: yes, but if you and your husband wants a child, if it is negative, wait a week and test again if your period is still not there.

    Of course if it's negative you want to test again soon, that doesn't mean what I said isn't true, thanks.
