I went to the salon to help with the horrid hair day I had recently . She worked wonders on getting my hair almost back to how I like it, but just around my face my hair is a very distinct yellow. I thought about going to some place like Sally's or trying that Color Oops or something to lighten it up some.Foils were used on my hair last time , I am not sure what these do , but after she used them my hair was more yellow, should I use a "foil" treatment or can I just rub some of this remover on the parts I want to be lightened? What should I do ?And after I remove the color what color should I use to get a platinum blonde colour?

I would actually suggest having that part trimmed, it will keep it healthier than processing it some more. Just have that part trimmed off.

You should go back to the salon and have them fix your hair. Platinum blonde is close to white. And some stylists won't lighten their clients hair pass the yellow stage because it can severely damage the hair. Your stylist may be able to give you some highlights, or use a high lift hair color to achieve your desired color.

I don't think it would be a very good idea to trim my hair right around my face, because where she did that it is a large amount, and I will not go back to the same person again, I asked her to do one thing and she ended up doing what she wanted to do to my hair.
