I was in a relationship for two years with a guy that I very much loved and still love. We broke up about six months ago, and we tried to work it out but it didn't happen. Now I am talking to another guy and he makes me sooo happy. Today I got a phone call from my EX and he says I sill Love you I want you back. I want you to let me prove to you how much I still care for you. I don't want to go back to him because I am scared of what will happen, and plus I am very happy with this other guy. The thing is I don't want to hurt him like he did me. So Someone Tell Me What I Should Do!! :confused:

Ohlala, I think its fair enough to talk straight to him. You don't want to hurt him but I think u'd better not try to hurt YOURSELF. Or else, u'll get a lot of drama.

Just said "well, i dont think we should be together since im seeing someone else and he makes me happy."

Stay with what makes you happy!

The thing is I don't want to hurt him like he did me.

Leave him alone, and move forward with your happiness! He may be hurt, but it won't be your doing. Don't lead him on.

You should tell him the truth.

And he won't hurt forever because just as you have found someone new that makes you feel great, so will he.

Second chances are nice aren't they? Third and fourth chances are even better, right?

If he was stupid enough to lose you in the first place why do you think he will be different in the future? Do you think that something magical has occurred? Now all things will be different and you will live in a heavenly peace forever?

I'm not saying that sometimes second chances don't work, but the odds are against it. And why jeopardize what you have found now? You didn't say how long you have been with this new guy but if you are questioning your feelings at all, then maybe you should question how you really feel about this new person? After that soul searching you will probably have your answer. One thing for sure, if the guy cheated on you then to me; the decision is made already.

You've moved on. The dynamic would never be the same. Leave him be.
