    vision worse from contacts?

I got contacts for the first time @ the end of July. Yes I love them and I have the kind that you wear for a month. Latley I've noticed that my vision isn't as good like I can't see as far as I use 2 when I first got contacts. Is it possible for my vision 2 get worse within 3 months? Should I go in for another exam?: even though I already have contacts bought for 3 more months?

It's not completely unusual for your vision to change in that short period. Mine seems to move a quarter of a diopter every six months. You can go back in for another exam, or simply call your Optometrist and tell them that you believe your vision has changed or that your contacts may not be the correct power, and you would like them to re-evaluate your RX. Some doctors will do this free of charge since it's been such a short period.

There could be many factors at play here:

The contacts may have built up protein deposits and the lenses are not really clear now. Try doing a good cleaning with the appropriate solution.

Do you have the "extended wear" type where you can sleep in them? I know that people do this, but I think people do better with contacts if they take them out every night before bed. It's much better for the health of your corneas if the contacts are removed nightly, rinsed with solution and put back in the case overnight. You might want to try doing this and see if your vision improves in a week or so.

Finally, it is possible that your vision has changed in the past few months. You would need a new eye exam to determine this, however.

Yes, all very good points although this post is over two years old and the OP has yet to return to the post.
