Hello,
There is this guy I like. We had a dance on Saturday and I entered and he was hanging out with me and some of my friends. He then put his arms out. I was confused he meant a hug so I hug him. Then he does the same after to my best girl friend. He comes up to me at the dance and starts talking to me. He then ask me if I want to dance and it's a slow song. So I dance with him. He then later grabs my hand and wants me to dance with this neirdy guy .
Then at school today my friend asked him if he liked me and he said just as friends.
My friend saaid there is a big possibility he like me. She said some guys don't say they like the girl until they know they like them.
Should I tell him tomorrow that I like him.
What do I do to step forward.

I am a guy... usually, "just as friends" will be said. That usually means he likes you, especially after dancing in a slow song. As for the hugging thing, he probably hugged your friend to cover it up, to act like that's a normal thing for him. Chances are, he likes you.

He probably does like you but wants to get to know you better and since your friends told him that they think you like him it probably scared him off somewhat (worrying you might get pushy for him to like you more or something). Just accept him as one of the friends in your group of friends and be yourself and if and when he is ready to be more than just another one of your friends he will let you know.
