If you have no problems getting pregnant, why would you be taking Clomid?

You need a prescription to get Clomid. If you are able to conceive naturally, did your doctor actually prescribe it to you?

That's why I am confused... my OBGYN will be prescribing me Clomid next month after one more test to determine if there is any other cause to my husbands and I's inability to get pregnant.

You usually have to be having trouble concieving and go through a series of other infertility tests before being prescribed Clomid.

My friend received clomid from a friend that was taking it and has some left over she wants to have twins and I told her not to take it, because she could have problems taking something that the doctor has not prescribed to her. She is also a twin and I really don't think she has any idea was she wants to get herself into.

Wouldn't she have a higher chance of having twins and what about complications the complications is what has me worried about her she has three kids already and I don't want them to have to suffer because she is doing something without having a doctor controlling it.

Clomid should only be taken by the person it was prescribed to!

Various test are preformed before a person is prescribed Clomid.
Various labs need to be preformed while on Clomid.
Certain medications a person is taking can interact with Clomid.

It is never safe to take a medication that is not prescribed to you!
