    Hydrosil baseboard heaters
Does anyone have info on whether Hydrosil baseboard heaters actually reduce electricity costs? Other types of heating are not an option for me and NH electric rates are going through the roof.

They will not reduce energy cost. All electric resistance heat is 100% efficient and it does not matter weather they use silicon or oil as a heat transfer medium. These type units tout that they are more efficient but they are not. They will give a smoother heat due to the transfer medium because they do not cycle as often. Electric heat = get your wallet out for the bills to come.
