Kenmore electric dryer not getting hot
We have a kenmore electric dryer that will not heat up. We have checked the breakers and vents. It is only 2 years old. Could it be the heating element? Thanks.

It could be but you will have test. Disconnect power from unit. Open unit up and remove 1 wire from element and test for continuity.

After you check the heating element ,it could be a fuse blown on one side ,only getting 110 instead of 220, if not that check to see if one of the heat sensors are bad. Some dryers have screw in fuses in them under the top cover.;; if I HAVE HELPED RATE ME BELOW tHANKS
