    My central ac/heat not working
Hi, I have a temp star central ac/heat system installed in my home. Ac doesn't cool house like it did 2 sunners ago. Heat doesn't seem to work at all( had to use fire place last winter, and have 3 window units going now and still stays about 80-87 degrees in house.) Had ac people come out and they checked the air degrees coming out of vents and they say it's with then the right temp? This just goes on, PLEASE Help!! Have no money to get new unit and was given a bigger unit and all says this ones to big? I have been handicapped for some time and unable to work and just had 5 cervical surgeries. My children and I are HOT and winter is coming. THANKS!!

    Hello,
This could be a simple cleaning issue. Unfortunately you need to get at the Evaporator coil inside the metal plenum located on top of the furnace. Also, keeps your filters changed regularly (monthly). Spray down the outside condenser as well, keep it free from debri.
Main problem would be a dirty Evaporator coil,. clogging any air trying to pass through it (heat or cold)
