    Fat or anorexic?
OK so my whole family thinks I'm turning into an anorexic. Because I always say I'm fat. And that true I always feel fat. I'm 127 and 5,5 but I have a lot of leg muscle. So anyway they all think I'm anorexic cause I always say I'm fat and I go on healthy diets all the time and every time I eat something unhealthy I actually feel really guilty like I just had done something really really bad. But I do not stop eating or binge to throw up or anything like that. Am I actually anorexic? Or are they wron:confused: g?

Umm I never said I don't eat and I don't have a mom so I can't steal her diet pills. A month ago I did weight 115 but after doing running every single day my thigh muscles bulked up in muscle a lot

Your weight is totally fine for your height.

You don't have a healthy body image which is why you think you are fat. Yes there is something wrong with you thinking there is something wrong with your body and going on diets. Your preoccupation with food is also disconcerting. I'd say you are borderline with an eating disorder. Your family is right to be concerned

My apologies to the OP. This post sounded almost exactly as another post with a bunch of X's in the name.

If you have a lot of muscle, eat right and exercise, who cares what the scale says?

I have been battling my weight for years but have taken on a new strategy. I am going to concentrate on eating right and doing my cardio. I'm not going to weigh in or worry about my dress size. Getting fit is what is important.

Your height and weight sound fine, But having a healthy diet is always a good thing, proper and balanced ( no fads )

And of course we all "cheat" and it is OK, but we also need to feel guilty so we don't do it all the time.

You sound somewhat normal to me

As everyone has said, for your height your weight is fine, and keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat.

But your habits are sounding like the start of a possible eating disorder, let me reiterate, POSSIBLE... you have said you go on healthy diets and eat well, you feeling "guilty" is what a lot of dieting people feel when they go off their diet.

I was anorexic in high school. Never did I think I was "fat". I was always very tone and athletic. Then I had those friends who weren't athletic, and thus built different, and to me they looked smaller than me. I played soccer and ran track... so needless to say I was in great shape... but competively my reasoning was if I lost 2 pounds that one more inch farther I could jump, and it would shave time off my runs etc. Before I new it I was eating 5 combos (the snack) a day... thats it. But it still didn't register with me that I had a problem. I didn't even notice what I was doing. It wasn't until other people started noticing my eating habits and weight lose that it was brought to my attention.

So it can sneak up on you. It is good that you are aware of your feelings though, just think of a healthy way to deal with them.
