I desperately need some advice, my friend was hit by one of his co-workers while they where working, The my friend was just busy like always and the co-worker walked up to him and started hitting him. Is there any thing that we can do about this? Please, this is really important, he has bruises in his face.

Take pictures, have your friend go to a doctor, & file a report/complaint with his Human Resources dept & the local police. If this guy pummeled & hurt your friend, your friend should be filing criminal charges against him. The things I listed are what need to be done to build a case.

And if they do not have an HR department, he works at a body shop place

Take photos and call the police. Notify whomever is in charge at the shop.

It doesn't sound plausible that he was just minding his own business and suddenly a co-worker started pounding him, though. Is there a part of this story you are leaving out? Was there a history between them?

I was thinking the same thing Emmy, but you know what? Let the police sort that out. The entire story will come to light. Maritsa, if your friend's boss (shop owner?) isn't aware of it, your friend needs to let him know what happened as Emland has suggested.
