    What are the benefits of RIS?can we use RIS for diskless workstation?

    If a workstation is diskless, it runs its software from a central server. So nothing would be installed. RIS allows software to be "pushed" out to workstations from a central location.

    Does RIS use local hard drive of client? In other word can we use ris for diskless network?
