    Probate Interest?
    While my mom's property is in probate can the loan companies charge for late fees and interest while probate is going through the courts? :confused:

    Yes, its up to the executor of the estate to make sure that all loans are kept up to date from the proceeds of the estate. If there are no cash assets in the estate, the executor can either have non cash assets sold off, make the payments out of their own pocket and later take the advanced funds off the top. Of course the executor needs to fully document any payments made.
