    Clomid Questions once again.
    Hi everyone

I haven't posted for a while again, so thought I would take this opportunity to give an update and also ask a couple of questions.

I have completed my third round of Clomid. Round 1 was 50mg per day (days 5 - 9), and apparently I ovulated. I got my period on day 26. Round 2 was still 50mg per day (days 5 - 9 ) and apparently I didn't ovulate. I got my period on day 35.

Round three was upped to 100mg per day (days 5 - 9) and I don't know the results yet.

We had sex on days 8,10,12,14,16,18 (nothing after this as hubby hurt his back) and I am nearly positive I ovulated day 19. First time I have ever experienced this, but it was clearish stuff, and I could stretch it really long! (as the books say you should).

I am now day 27 and no period yet. Could this be a good sign? I don't want to get overly eager, and I know the cycle is supposed to be 28 days, but last time I ovulated, I got my period day 26.

Also, that 100mg of clomid was hell!! Worst headache for 5 days straight ever!

Its just a tad bit hard, as I found out today the sister in law is pregnant, and it happened within one month! Makes me feel a bit inadequate, and like there is something wrong with me.

    Anyone have any advice?

Also, the doctors office just confirmed that from my 21 day blood test, that ovulation occurred.

If , as I mentioned above, it occurred on day 19, and just say it worked - would the blood test show pregnancy? Or is it too soon?

Hang in there! If your doctor confirmed that ovulation occurred then at least you know that the Clomid is doing its job. Now it's just a matter of getting the timing right. It can be frustrating but now you know that it's possible. So try not to get discouraged!

    Thanks Lisa

So nice to have a response.

Its day 28 today and no AF. Not sure when to set myself a goal of getting a HPT to test...

Thinking might wait until say Sunday or so to test? Which will be day 32.

When I Didn't ovulate from Clomid, I got AF on day 35...

    Not sure!!

I know it's upsetting but try not to let it get to you. You know that the Clomid is working. Now you just have to get your timing working. :)

    Thanks Lisa B.

I am not quite so disapointed now... its all OK :)

I didn't get AF yesterday, nor yet today, just had some really really light pink and stomach cramps. Expecting it soon enough I guess.

I bought a HPT test anyway, -ve as expected. Its day 29 today. But I did test it around 10.30 and I understand for the early tests, you need to do it first thing in the morning.

Anyway, once again - thank you.
